Came across this top while I was doing some online shopping and I’m really tempted to purchase it. It has the same designs as the Givenchy chain t-shirts from the 2011 fall collection, but is so much more cheaper….under $30. YUPP. The quality is obviously not the same and the colours are not as vivid on this top compared to the designer’s, although that doesn’t surprise me at all considering the price. Hmm we’ll see.
I’m finally ready to cut my hair. I have mentally prepared myself during the last couple of weeks to get this done and I am wanting to cut it at a length shown in the above photo. I know ^it’s a guy but I like the length and style of it.
At the moment my hair reaches all the way down to my hip and although I do love it, it is extremely difficult to look after and becomes very annoying. Doing my hair in the morning takes longer than it should and simple tasks become so much more stressful as my hair gets caught in nearly everything!
I’ve decided it’s best to cut it short to reduce the large amount of time I waste making my hair look decent. I’m going to miss it incredibly, but I know this is for the best.
I will definitely have it cut by this week. <3

Ordering some running pants! The last couple of months all I’ve been doing is…study, exercise, eat, sleep. I never used to be the exercise type of person, but recently I decided it would be good for the tired/lazy feeling I’ve been having and most importantly, it’s good for my health! I’ve been going to the gym at least 3 times a week and exercising everyday by running laps in the park with my dog. So far, I feel so much more energised. Maybe it’s all physiological (…you know, like a placebo), but at least it’s making me feel better! I’m going to continue this for as long as I can, hopefully until exams when my work load will definitely increase.
ADELINE ADELINE…probably one of the most beautiful bicycles I’ve seen yet. Their bikes have a 70s European look to it, which I like very much. I could totally imagine myself riding one of these in the streets of Paris. This is definitely going in my wish list! Since I was told I will be going to Paris again in a couple of months, I randomly thought buying a bicycle will get me in the French mood (I don’t know why. I’m so weird). I guess its the calm and refreshing atmosphere you get in Paris that I like very much, hence would be a great place to ride a bike. London, on the other hand is very much crowded. Don’t get me wrong, London is such a beautiful and exquisite place, and does occasionally have space to ride bikes. Although, I know I’d be praying I wouldn’t get run over every 5 minutes >.<”. The last photo of the black bicycle with the large box at the front made me giggle. I totally love this idea of having a huge compartment to carry heavy goods, shopping, or my large dog! haha. However, I don’t think this is what I need in my life just yet (it’s too expensive!). An ordinary bicycle will do for now ^^ .

Currently in the middle of writing an enormous report. I am stressing out at the moment and can’t sit still. I think it’s because I’ve got so many things jumbled up in my mind and I’m finding it difficult to focus on one thing. AH. I’m so busy trying to finish this report on time, and I’ve got to somehow find time to buy a birthday gift for one of my family members, I also have to travel a very long distance by train to see a car my friend is hoping to buy, and I’ve been appointed to travel all the way to a shoe store to return my sister’s shoes that doesn’t seem to fit her, and this is all supposed to be happening from now on until tomorrow night. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE? I think my brain might explode..possibly in the next couple of seconds ehhh :(
Mega-retailer Uniqlo, famous for their affordable and well-designed staple items as well as brief designer collections with the likes of Charlotte Ronson and Alexander Wang, has announced a collaboration with fellow Japanese brand UNDERCOVER. The partnership will be a long-term project set for launch in Spring 2012 at the Uniqlo Ginza location in Tokyo. It’s surely no coincidence that the UNDERCOVER collection comes directly on the heels of Jil Sander’s final J+ line for the brand. In addition to temporarily serving as Uniqlo’s creative director, Jil Sander also crafted a highly-acclaimed set of clothing and accessories for the retailer under her J+ label, so UNDERCOVER’s Jun Takahashi will have big shoes to fill when his brand releases their wares on Uniqlo’s shelves in the spring.

So it’s the beginning of a new term at University tomorrow and I’m feeling reluctant to go. The winter holidays have flown past in a blink on an eye and I still can’t believe Uni is already starting. I am craving to stay home tomorrow and cuddle up next to my laptop and just watch movies on my bed all day :( I guess I just have to look forward to the easter holidays. Honestly, I adore ALL the lessons at university and the professors, it’s just that I have to travel a lot and the expenses for books, travel and rent are rather high. And I totally miss the city life where my home is situated. My parents are fairly delighted that the university is surrounded by grass rather than buildings because they think it’ll prevent me from going out regularly to shop ==”… oh how I do love my parents haha.

givenchy haute couture autumn/winter 2011-2012 gown
Givenchy. One of my all-time favourite fashion brands. It’s all about the details and precision. Every item of clothing is beautifully constructed, resulting in beautiful art pieces. I look at clothing in the same manner as I look at paintings in an art gallery. I go close to the object and attempt to look deep into it. I imagine how the texture of the material used by the artist feels between my fingers. I visualise how the artist achieved this texture, what equipment or method he/she used. When I look at Givenchy, I can see so much history, culture, and skill that has been put into making such elegant and intricate clothing.

Whenever I watch a fashion show and see one of them pop up on the runway I always get really hyper and jump around (well not really, I’m exaggerating). They’re so cute and always look incredibly beautiful. I also really love their individual taste in fashion!

I bought my father shoes similar to the middle one as a Christmas gift. I remember seeing him look at the pair of shoes when we went shopping together a while back and him saying how nice and comfortable they looked. What I like about the shoes is the soft material hugging your feet. You could probably walk around wearing the shoes for a whole day without any discomfort. The bottom surface of the shoe also had really good grips, and overall the shoe was very sturdy and worth every penny I spent on it. I was so glad when I saw a huge grin on his face when he opened the present on Christmas morning. Love you dad! <3
